Last spring, a new friend and I met at a bakery to get acquainted. Think outdoor patio and chocolate. We met to discuss writing. With my background in educational publishing and her (new) role as a home school teacher of her two children, our conversation drifted to home school activities. We speculated that many families find themselves in her situation—seeking consistency for their children, they plan to home school for a time during the current pandemic. Her encouragement, my love of curriculum, and the resources I’ve developed over the past two decades prompted the birth of this site.
That conversation inspired me to work toward posting resources and activities (one of the things my friend specifically requested) for these families. Summer happened. The nudge remains, the thought and desire to serve you, to gift you with what I’ve been given—a love of learning.

I read and respond to every email. Meanwhile, I’ll try to post a new resource every week or so as we look ahead to this new school year.
